Musical soiree at Brancoveanu Palaces

On Sunday, May 15, to mark 100 years since the death of the last Austrian Romantic composer, Gustav Mahler (May 18, 1911, Vienna), two of the most celebrated names associated with the vocal-cameral miniature invite us to a truly special musical soiree. One of the most talented dramatic sopranos of the Romanian lyrical scene – Sorina Munteanu – and a wonderful chamber music pianist – Vasilica Stoiciu Frunza – tempt us with two cycles from Mahler’s body of work: “Songs on the Death of Children” and “Five Songs on Poems by Friedrich Rückert”. The recital is part of the “Music at the Brancoveanu Palaces” Series, the third edition, an event organized by the Brancoveanu Palaces Cultural Centre.

The price of a museum entrance ticket is RON 5 (RON 2 for categories granted a discount).

Venue: Mogosoaia Palace, Rugs Hall, 5pm
Address: 1 Valea Parcului Street, Mogosoaia, Ilfov
