The House of Hohenzollern unaware of King Mihai I decision

The representatives of the Prince of Hohenzollern said they have not received any formal information from Elisabeta Palace over the recent announcement by King Mihai I to break the historic and dynastic ties with The House of Hohenzollern, HotNews reported, citing an e-mail from the spokesperson for the Prince of Hohenzollern. “We have only learned from press information about the announcement made by King Mihai I. We have not been sent a formal written statement. Having said that, we should nonetheless add that we no longer attach significant meaning to such process given the context of the historic evolution over the past century,” was written in the e-mail. King Mihai I announced that, as of last Tuesday, all historic ties are severed between the Royal House of Romania and The Princely House of Hohenzollern.
