League I: Rapid qualifies for Europa League

Rapid Bucharest won its away game against Universitatea Cluj, score 2-1, thus qualifying for the Europa League. This qualification was the goal Rapid had set for itself at the start of this League I season. The goals scored by Herea (25th minute) and Frunza (38th minute) brought the team coached by Marian Rada three points. Pacurar (67th minute) scored for the hosts. Rapid totals 56 points and was three points behind the third place at least until Sunday’s games.
