Bamboo Club in Mamaia, demolished

The largest “posh” club in Mamaia, “Bamboo”, was demolished on Tuesday morning, as it did not have a building permit. According to the head of the Constanta Constructions Territorial Inspectorate, Gigi Chiriu, the operation of tearing down the club went on smoothly, in the presence of the owners, who recovered what they could out of the building. “I myself, having Mamaia’s interests in mind, would have rather seen such a club continuing to operate, legally and with all the necessary permits. However, even such a brand has to abide by the law, just like everybody,” Gigi Chiru stated. The Bamboo Club was demolished once before, at the end of the summer of 2010, again, because it did not have the necessary permits, by the owners-themselves, but it was rebuilt this spring.
