“Meeting Point”, photography exhibition-cum-sale

The photography exhibition-cum-sale “Meeting Point”, signed by Cosmin Bumbut, opens on Saturday, May 21, and is running until July 10. The exhibition includes a series of photographs taken by the author in various places and at various times, but joined by the common thread of relations between people and objects, between places and states. “I chose a series of decorative photographs, printed in limited editions, at accessible prices, to encourage the purchase of art photography,” Cosmin Bumbut argues. Cosmin Bumbut is one of the best-known Romanian professional photographers and a laureate of the 2006 International Photography Award. He is the only Digigraphie-certified photographer in Romania, that is, each piece is numbered and signed by the artist on the back, embossed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity which mentions the title, the type of paper used, the photography number and the date when it was printed.

Venue: Van Gogh Café, 4pm
Address: 9, Smardan Street, Lipscani, opposite BNR
