Romanian-Serbian commission on minorities meets in Belgrade

The joint Romanian-Serbian intergovernmental commission on national minorities meets today in Belgrade, with talks set to focus on minorities’ main problems, according to a press release from the Foreign Ministry. This is the second meeting of the commission after the one held on November 23, 2009. The Belgrade session will be co-chaired by State Secretary for European Affairs Bogdan Aurescu on behalf of Romania and by provincial culture secretary Milorad Djuric on behalf of Serbia.
