PM, a thrifty man

Premier Emil Boc has saved another RON 15,000 on his cards and has thus reached total savings of RON 85,000, this being the first time in his term when he manages to save more than RON 5,000 during a semester. The Prime Minister signed his declaration of assets as interim Labor Minister. The Head of Government has bank deposits at BCR (RON 117,000), Banca Transilvania (RON 30,000), BRD (RON 36,000), Bancpost (RON 5,000), plus another EUR 11,000 and USD 2,449 in deposits at ING, BRD and Bancpost. His declaration of assets points out that the bank deposits were opened in 1998-2009. Boc also has an ING insurance policy on his and his two daughters’ names. The Premier has a 63-square-meters apartment in Cluj-Napoca and a Peugeot car bought in leasing in 2007.
