More than one in four MAI employees failed the integrity test

The head of the Prevention Service of the General Anticorruption Department, Paul Milodin said that 28 pc of the Ministry of Administration and Interior (MAI) employees which were subjected to integrity tests have failed, as they were caught taking bribes. In a press conference held Tuesday in Ploiesti, Milodin said that 136 MAI employees have been subjected to integrity tests since 2006 and 38 of them accepted various sums of money as bribe.
