Anti-Corruption Office (DNA) Timisoara prosecutors have indicted Silvia Nely Ciobanovschi, Director of the Projects from External Reimbursable Funds Department of the National Highway and Roads Company (CNADNR), Ioan Malita, former head of the CNADNR branch in Timisoara, Dumitru and Nicolae Stanciu, owners of the Staicons Company from Baile Herculane, for bribery, Realitatea TV informs, quoting Pressalert.ro.

According to judicial sources quoted by Mediafax, following the hearings that started on Wednesday afternoon and ended yesterday morning at 5.30 AM, the prosecutors decided to indict Ioan Malita for intercession, Silvia Ciobanovschi for bribe-taking, and Dumitru and Nicolae Stanciu for bribery. It all started after the searches that anti-corruption prosecutors and police officers conducted on Wednesday uncovered a series of documents and goods offered as bribery. The DNA prosecutors are investigating a series of contracts that Staicons Company won while Malita was director of CNADNR’s branch in Timisoara, but also the way they were operated. The same sources stated that the four were allowed to leave after the hearings but they are not allowed to leave the country.
