PSD MP Mircea Draghici, recently heard by the Anti-Corruption Office (DNA) in the file concerning Arges County Council President Constantin Nicolescu, was hospitalized yesterday within Bucharest’s ‘Floreasca’ Hospital after he suffered a heart attack. “Doctors gave him the first aid, conducted medical tests and recommended him to avoid stress or strong emotions in the following period. These medical problems came against the backdrop of his father’s death and of pressures in political life,” a press communiqué reads, being quoted by Mediafax. Doctors stated that the MP was lucky because the blood vessel broke somewhere in his face, not in the brain. At this moment Mircea Draghici is in stable condition and is following the doctors’ advice,” the communiqué adds. On the other hand, hospital representatives have stated that no patient named Mircea Draghici was registered there.
