Child drowns in Ciorogarla River

Divers found the body of the child that drowned Friday afternoon in the Ciorogarla River, while his mother was found alive on the bank. According to Claudia Burada, spokeswoman of the Ilfov County Police, the child, his mother and sister went to take water from the river. When the boy fell in the water, the woman jumped to rescue him, but could not find him in the muddy river. The little girl ran home and warned the family, which called 112. The ISU rescue team found the woman alive on the bank of the river, but could do nothing for the boy, who had already drowned.
