The Romanians playing in France’s Ligue 1 have had a terrible season this year. After Boloni’s Lens relegated, AS Monaco, the team for which Romania’s Daniel Niculae is playing, followed suite. On Sunday, Monaco lost its home game against Olympique Lyon, score 0-2. The goals in the last leg game were scored by Diakhate (67th minute) and Lisandro (82nd minute). Daniel Niculae was kept on the substitutes’ bench until the 80th minute when he replaced Park.
