Tecau/Lindstedt pair in Roland Garros quarterfinals

Romania’s Horia Tecau and Sweden’s Robert Lindstedt (top seed 9 pair) qualified on Sunday for the quarterfinals of the Roland Garros, the second Grand Slam tournament of the year, the competition’s official website informs. Tecau and Lindstedt defeated France’s Julien Benneteau and Nicolas Mahut after one hour and 14 minutes, score 6-2, 6-4. In the quarterfinals Horia Tecau and Robert Lindstedt will play against Belarus’s Max Mirnyi and Canada’s Daniel Nestor (top seed 2 pair) after the latter defeated Germany’s Christopher Kas and Austria’s Alexander Peya, score 6-3, 6-4. Tecau and Lindstedt will receive a check for EUR 42,000 for managing to reach the quarterfinals.
