Henkel Romania to invest EUR 10 M in new adhesive factory

German consumer goods producer Henkel will invest an approximate EUR 10 M in the construction of its third adhesive factory on Romanian soil, in Roznov, Neamt County, with EUR 3 M being secured from European funds. Henkel Romania obtained about EUR 3 M (RON 12 M) through the Sectoral Operational Programme – Increase of Economic Competitiveness, which it will use to build the factory and purchase the machines, the company announces in a press release. The factory, scheduled to enter operations in September 2012, will sell its products mainly in western Romania. It will produce the whole range of Ceresit adhesives, except for plasters and primers.
