The Romanian online advertising market reported a 32 pc-growth last year, amounting to the record figure of RON 86 M, a study conducted by the IAB Romania association and PriceWaterhouse Coopers shows. According to the study, the market has risen steadily in the past two years, from one quarter to the next. Specialists suggest this trend reflects the advertising clients’ growing eagerness to invest in this sector. Expenditure on online advertising amounted to 6 pc in Romania. At a global level, this amounted to 15 pc of total advertising costs, surpassing amounts allotted to press, radio and outdoor advertising.
