PSD and PNL submit simple motion “Ethno-botanical plants – a national scourge”

Mircea Dusa, leader of the Chamber of Deputies Social-Democrat Group, yesterday addressed the plenum, announcing the filing, by the opposition, of a simple motion called “Ethno-botanical plants – a national scourge”. This is the second time the motion was tendered, as the previous one had been turned down on order from the Chamber’s Deputy Speaker, Ioan Oltean, on grounds of its original title “PDL – the party of light drugs,” after a relevant Standing Bureau debate. Conservative Party President Daniel Constantinescu held last week’s rejection as an arbitrary decision. The opposition’s motion will be debated on Monday, starting from 4 pm, with the vote being scheduled on Tuesday, June 7.
