State approved applications for portioning RON 6.5 M-worth of company debts

The state approved, by May 11, seven applications filed by companies for the portioned payment of debts amounting to a total RON 6.5 M, which accounts for less than 1 pc of the total volume requested, according to figures remitted by the National Tax Administration Agency (ANAF) to Mediafax. The Government decided, in late March, that companies which have orders, but are faced with financial difficulties in the context of the crisis, will be granted a chance to pay, in instalments, their dues to the state, within a maximum five year-term, provided they pay their current taxes and a guarantee. ANAF received, by May 11, no less than 528 applications for portioned payment, for overdue taxes amounting to a total RON 871.6 M.
