PDL code of ethics, ready end of June

The PDL Code of Ethics is to be completed before June 23, PDL First Vice-President Gheorghe Flutur said yesterday, He added that, the party was at the same time working on a set of performance criteria to be met by people in leading positions, supported by PDL, Mediafax reports.  ‘The MPs should do their own evaluations, because they were elected in a plurality voting system’, said Flutur. The PDL official also stated that he was currently working on a party strategy for the local election. He avoided making an estimation of the number of PDL candidates for mayor who will win the local election, but did say that, in Suceava, PDL would obtain 70 positions out of 144 available. Flutur noted that, currently PDL had 49 mayors originally elected on PDL lists and another 20 who had won on behalf of other parties, but who are PDL sympathisers.
