A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital on Saturday after he was shot in the leg in the courtyard of his house in Baltesti locality, Prahova County. His parents told police officers that they heard a gunshot and then saw their child on the ground with a wound to his leg. The unconscious boy was taken to the Emergency Hospital in Ploiesti where he was given medical care but was not hospitalized. Preliminary investigations have established that both the boy’s parents and their neighbours legally own non-lethal weapons.
