The baccalaureate examination begins today, Education Ministry officials announcing strict organizational procedures aimed at eliminating exam fraud. Oral communication proficiency in the Romanian language will be the first examination, Monday through Wednesday, for which over 210,000 pupils registered, distributed to 1,398 examination centres. Linguistic proficiency in the native language will be the next examination, June 8-10. Computer literacy testing was scheduled from June 13, yet, the Whitsuntide being observed June 12 and 13 will push the examination back by three days. Linguistic proficiency in a foreign language will be tested June 20-23. The written examinations are scheduled June 27-July 1.
