Little girl missing from home found after four-day search

A 4-year-old girl from Medgidia, Constanta County, who had been reported missing from home Friday, after her mom left for work, leaving her daughter with a relative, was found by a locomotive driver Monday evening after a four-day search, while she was attempting to cross the railway tracks near the Medgidia railway station. “The driver stopped the train and took her in his cabin, realising she should be the girl reported missing. The girl was scared and dehydrated. Nonetheless, she is in good health, has no wounds or bruises,” Chief Commissary Vasile Daogaru of the Medigidia Police said. The police investigation will carry on to establish if the girl fled home and got lost, or was kidnapped.
