Over EUR 100,000 for Bucharest marketing plan

The Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism (MDRT) and the consortium Detente Consultants (France) – Detente Consultants Ploiesti signed a contract for the first professional tourist marketing plan of Bucharest for 2011-2015, reads a press release. The contract, worth EUR 101,952 (VAT included), has been signed early this June, for a nine-week period. The consultants will provide a strategic plan that will define the general marketing strategies, the positioning strategy, product portfolio, target public, geographic markets, distribution and way of communication, along with the operational plans for the most important tourist products offered by Bucharest as a tourist destination.

MDRT will make available to the consortium the 2007-2026 national master plan for tourism, the results of studies and reports conducted in view of the national tourist brand, as well as additional information necessary for drafting the marketing plan.
