Delphi opens Moldova Noua wiring equipment factory

Delphi Automotive opens a new production unit at Moldova Noua, south-western Roma­nia. According to a press release, the new plant will manufacture electric wiring modules for Euro­pean car manufacturers and will contri­bute, along with the other Delphi factories in Roma­nia, to offer both efficiency and flexibility to its customers. The workforce might reach 1,000 by end of year. Delphi has been operating three electrical distribution system and diesel engine component manufacturing plants in Romania, with an overall workforce of over 10,000.
