Ali Campbell at Palace Hall

Ali Campbell, the legendary voice of UB40, will be singing today in Bucharest in a relief concert for underprivileged, abandoned and disabled children. The event is organized by the “FARA Romania” Foun­dation, a charity foundation acting under the exalted patronage of HRH the Prince of Wales, actress Nicole Kidman and Princess Marina Sturdza. The concert will be opened by Taxi. Ali Campbell is one of the most distinctive and recognizable voices in the UK. As the frontman of the widely-acclaimed band UB40, Ali Campbell sold over 60 million records, had four global No. 1 hits, over 40 singles which made it into the UK Top 40, launched 24 studio albums and won an Ivor Novello “Inter­national Achievement” award.

Tickets are available in the following price categories: RON 70, 100, 140, 180 and 220, and can be purchased via the Eventim network, in Germanos, Orange, Vodafone and Domo shops, Humanitas and Cartu­resti bookshops, and online, on www.eventim.ro. The proceeds from the tickets, as well as donations made by various companies, will go exclusively to assisting FARA projects.
