Turceni energy centre employee dies

A Turceni energy centre employee fell 16 meters to his death yesterday while he was repairing energy group number 4. Elena Zamfir, the energy centre’s spokesperson, stated for Mediafax that the man was employed as a locksmith. “The man died after falling from a height of 16 meters. The accident was reported to the Labor Inspectorate which will establish its precise causes,” Zamfir said. According to the aforementioned source, another employee that was with the locksmith at the time of the accident suffered a panic attack when he saw his colleague dead and was taken to hospital. The 43-year-old man that died was from Branesti locality.
