Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) and VISA launched a contactless shopping card, in RON, with the RATB transport application included, and a credit limit of RON 20,000, the bank announced, yesterday, in a press release. The Standard Contactless Visa PowerCard offers two products merged in one, namely, a Bucharest public transport card (which operates like the RATB Activ card) and a credit card in RON, for shopping. The Standard Contactless Visa PowerCard has a variable interest (modified on a quarterly basis, adding up ROBOR 3M and a fixed margin of 11.5 pc), of 17.18 pc a year for unsecured cards.
