International Fair for the development of Danube macro-region

Romexpo launches, in June (June 23 to 26, 2011), a new concept – “Dunarea & Delta” – International Fair for the development of the Danube macro-region, according to a release remitted to “Nine O’Clock”. The extraordinary manifestation will take place under the patronage of the Foreign Ministry and with the support of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in keeping with EU’s new initiative regarding regional cooperation in the Danube basin.

“Dunarea & Delta” aims to encourage territorial cohesion, in keeping with the European Strategy for the development of the Danube region’s economic potential, approved by the European Commission in 2010. Thus, the manifestation proposes to come to the aid of the European initiative by generating new projects and partnerships between the European, regional and local, authorities, the private environment and NGOs.
