Romania-UAE air travel agreement to simplify passenger control

The Romanian Transports Minister, Anca Boagiu, and the United Arab Emirates’ Economy Minister, the Sultan Saeed Nasser Al Mansoori, signed, yesterday, in Dubai, an air travel agreement stipulating, among other things, the simplification of passenger and luggage control.

“This agreement will also encourage a boost in the number of entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates investing in Romania, as well as enhance the quality of services provided to clients by the two states’ national airlines,” Boagiu stated, in a release.At the same time, the Transports Ministry also signed a cooperation protocol between the Constanta Harbour Administration and the corresponding institution in the United Arab Emirates, to encourage the development of freight traffic between the Romanian harbour and the Jebel Ali harbour in the Emirate of Dubai.
