FM on Copenhagen visit

Foreign Minister Teodor Baconschi yesterday began a two-day visit to Copenhagen, at the invitation of his Danish counterpart, Lene Espersen, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said in a release. Baconschi will have talks with Espersen, but also with the head of the Danish Parliament’s European Affairs Committee, Anne-Marie Meldgaard and the head of the Danish Institute for International Studies, Nanna Hvidt.

“Given the positive dynamics of the Romanian-Danish relationship, the talks offer aw good opportunity to analyse common priorities and cooperation opportunities. Special attention will be given to concrete mechanisms to stimulate bilateral trade and increase Danish investment in Romania,” the ministry release said.
