McCann Erickson Romania receives nine awards at the Cannes advertising festival

The ‘New Rum’ ad campaign earned McCann Erickson Romania nine awards at this year’s edition of the Cannes international advertising festival – the world’s most important event of the kind, reports. The list includes the Titanium – an award granted for the best and innovative idea in the festival – and a Gold Lion, in the Integrated category.

The agency also received two Grand Prix – one for the best launch/re-launch of a product, and another in the brand building category. The ‘New Rum’ campaign for the customer Kandia Dulce centered on replacing the traditional packaging of the rum chocolate with the US flag.
