LPF gets over EUR 100 M from broadcasting rights

The RCS&RDS television company bought yesterday the last six League I broadcasting rights packages, paying EUR 55.8 M (VAT included). Thus, the Professional Football League has won a total of EUR 101.184 M (VAT included) from the broadcasting rights ceded for the next three seasons. RCS&RDS was the only company that took part to the tender and offered the minimum price that the LPF had asked for. “We offered EUR 55.8 M, VAT included. I believe it was a fair offer for this period we are going through,” Ioan Bendei, representative of RCS&RDS, stated for Mediafax.
