The National Radio Orchestra, alongside the Radio Academic Choir and the Radio Children’s Choir, presents, today, the event-concert “Refacerea Sperantei” (Hope Reborn), a relief concert, for the children affected by the Japan disaster.
The programme will include:
Ludwig van Beethoven, Concerto no. 5 in E flat major for piano and orchestra, op. 73 – The “Emperor Concerto”;
Mihai Moldovan, “Oseneasca”, for the children’s choir;
Sabin Pautza, “Canti prophani”, for the children’s choir and orchestra;
Bedrich Smetana, “Vltava” – symphonic poem for orchestra;
Alexander P. Borodin, “Polovtsian Dances”, from “Prince Igor”, for choir and orchestra.
