Ford to return all connected real-estate assets to AVAS

Ford will return to the Authority for State Assets Recovery (AVAS) all connected real-estate assets belonging to former company Automobile Craiova, as an answer to the accusations of illegal state aid, accusations brought by a group of investors, Nadia Crisan, member of Ford Romania’s Administrative Board, stated for Mediafax. According to a press communiqué, a group of Romanian investors notified the European Commission about an alleged illegal state aid offered to Ford, since the auto manufacturer did not transfer the real-estate assets belonging to the companies that were about to merge after Automobile Craiova’s privatization.
