Finance Minister Gheorghe Ialomitianu and the President of the National Tax Administration Agency (ANAF), Sorin Blejnar, on Tuesday instructed the ANAF staff directly involved in the process of re-organisation to work extra hours on July 2 and 3 (Saturday and Sunday), Realitatea.net informs. The measures were taken in order to prevent a disturbance of the activity of tax administration institutions as well as to expedite the process of re-distribution of tax-payers to new competent tax administration institutions and to assure the best possible conditions for the transfer of all information needed so that, starting from July 5, all fiscal administration organizations to start operating at the standards set by the re-organisation process, reads a release received by the newsroom. The activity of payments carried out by the territorial units of the State Treasury will operate normally, according to the regular working hours, ANAF notes. ANAF President Sorin Blejnar on Monday dismissed Bucharest Financial Squad chief Stelica Constantin, only three days before the expiration of his term as Squad Chief-Commissar. 1,063 Financial Squad employees received a dismissal notice on Monday and are now waiting to be tested.
