Adrian-Ion Stanescu is as of today the new director general of Rompetrol Well Services, replacing Vasile Barbu, whose mandate is over, according to a report of the company, remitted yesterday to the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The new appointment came as a result of a resolution adopted by the company’s Board of Directors on June 28. The company Rompetrol Well Services, specialized in oil and gas probing technology services, reported, in the first quarter of 2011, net earnings of RON 3.44 M, rising by 31.8 pc compared to figures for Q1 of 2010, of RON 2.61 M. The company’s turnover amounted, in the first quarter, to RON 19.20 M, rising by 25.16 pc, compared to the same interval of 2010, when it amounted to RON 15.34 M.
