Romanian-North Korean agreement on culture and education

Last week, the government approved an agreement for cooperation with North Korea in fields such as culture, education, science and sports, Realitatea.net reported. The strange fact is that the agreement was published in the Official Gazette exactly as North Korea was announcing that it would shut down universities in order to redirect the youth to physical labour the network commented. The agreement, signed in Pyongyang in November last year and approved by Boc’s cabinet last month, provided for university contacts and student exchanges. The document also provided exchanges of writers, composers, visual artists, singers and instrumentalists and the organization of joint cultural events, the TV channel added.
