“Valse-Fantaisie”, “Serenade” and “Falling Angels”, at Enescu Festival

“Valse-Fantaisie”, “Serenade” and “Falling Angels” will be presented, on September 24, by the Bucharest National Opera’s Ballet Company, within the “Ballet Night” featured on the programme of the “George Enescu” International Festival.
“Valse-Fantaisie” – Ballet Balanchine and Serenade – will be presented under an agreement with The George Balanchine Trust. The choreography is signed by George Balanchine and the two performances are directed by Paul Joseph Boos.
“Falling Angels”, on the other hand, is based on a concept and choreography bearing Jiri Kylian’s signature. The music was composed by Steve Reich.
