Cristian Preda urges PDL to take position on Baccalaureate results

PDL EuroDeputy Cristian Preda said yesterday on RFI that he is surprised by his party’s lack of reaction to the results of the Baccalureate, and strongly criticised the language mistakes made by the minister of Education last week. Preda urged the National Political Bureau (BPN) of PDL to take position on the poor results of this year’s Baccalaureate, when 60 pc of candidates failed the exam. “I am surprised by the fact that the recently elected BPN did not have an opinion, like if the issue did not exist at all. It gives the impression of a frozen BPN. First of all, they should debate the issue. Now, there also is an unfortunate coincidence of situations, as the language blunders made by the minister last week were followed by a very strict control of the Baccalaureate,” the PDL MEP added.
