Franklin Templeton, the administrator of the Proprietatea Fund (FP) recommended shareholders the secondary listing of the Fund on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in the first quarter of 2012, by selling a maximum stake of 10 pc, Mediafax reports. The move would increase the visibility of FP among foreign investors, along with the liquidity of the Fund.
Templeton considers listing the Romanian fund on the markets of London, Warsaw or Vienna, reads a press release sent by Templeton to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Wednesday. The announcement follows a six-month study and consultation with eight leading global investment banks.
