Renault Group sets up new company in Romania

The Renault group set up a new company, Renault Commercial Roumanie, which took over, from Renault Nissan Romania, the selling on the local market of Renault and Nissan brands, and integrated the commercial consultancy activity conducted by Dacia Comercial, representatives of the French group’s PR Office in Romania stated. The latter did not provide any details regarding the reason for which these modifications in the group’s commercial structure were made. Renault Nissan Romania was founded in July 2001, and, according to information posted on the Public Finance Ministry’s official website, the company’s turnover in 2009 amounted to over RON 560 M. In the same year, Dacia Comercial reported a RON 25 M-turnover and had 241 employees.
