Seven pimping suspects remain behind bars

On Friday, the Bucharest Tribunal supported the remand order issued in the case of the seven individuals including OTV director Doru Iuga, charged with pimping or sex with minors. The court rejected the appeals made by defendants and supported the resolution passed a week before by a Sector 2 Court who remanded in custody Iuga, businesspeople Klaus Zander and Andrei Marius Staicovici, as well as Viorel Manolache, Romeo Stefan Haciadurian and Adrian Dobre, on charges of pimping or sex with minors and issued a remand order in absentia in the name of another defendant suspected of having already fled to Germany.
