Oltean: Financial decentralization also needed

PDL Secretary General Ioan Oltean stated yesterday after the meeting of the ruling coalition’s Administrative Reorganization Committee that apart from administrative decentralization there is also a need for “financial decentralization.” “We’ve established (during the Committee meeting – editor’s note) that the reform of decentralized bodies is necessary and that this administrative reorganization should also entail a financial decentralization, a financial transfer at local level,” Ioan Oltean stated, being quoted by realitatea.net. Likewise, sources that took part in the talks also pointed out that in the following period both the local authorities and the Ministries should prepare projects that concern the reform of decentralized bodies.  Verestoy Attila (UDMR), Ioan Oltean (PDL), Traian Igas (PDL), Gheorghe Flutur (PDL), Ioan Oltean (PDL) and Daniel Funeriu (PDL) were among those that took part in the ruling coalition’s Administrative Reorganization Committee meeting that took place at the government headquarters.
