Prime Minister Emil Boc stated on Monday in Ploiesti that Romania will have a budget deficit of 3 per cent in 2012, Mediafax informs. The PM added that an economic growth of 1.5-2 per cent is forecast for this year and one of 3.5-4 per cent for next year. Premier Emil Boc also pointed out that there are problems in what concerns the fairness of tenders organized by local authorities for projects financed from European funds, claiming that the government will be “ruthless” with those authorities that fix tenders.
