New global crisis wave may strike, Gov’t does not envisage fresh austerity measures

The world may be struck by a second wave of the economic crisis, but Romania hopes the EU will be able to solve the problems in the euro zone and come up with solutions for the situation in Italy, as was the case in Greece, without the Romanian Cabinet considering fresh austerity measures for now, the prime-minister Emil Boc stated, during a talk-show.

He added that Romania enjoyed macroeconomic stability, at present, and claimed that the Bucharest government did not envisage the adoption of new austerity measures.
