Bergenbier company yesterday launched on the Romanian market the best sold Czech beer around the world, the Staropramen, Mediafax informs. In Romania, the Staropramen beer is produced at the Bergenbier brewery of Ploiesti, in glass bottles of 0.5 and 0.33 liters, and in metal cans of 0.5 liters. The beer will cost between 2 and 3 RON in retail chains. Bergenbier expects beer sales to further decline in 2011, for the third year in a row, with less than 10 pc. In Q1 this year, beer sales in Romania dropped by 2 pc against the similar period of 2010, to 2.8 million hectoliters.
