Eurolines to take over Touristik Union International’s Romanian operations

Eurolines is to take over the Romanian operations of the German group Touristik Union International (TUI), also integrating, in the group, the company Danubius Travel in Constanta, through which the foreign tourists signed up by TUI are brought to Romania, Eurolines announced, yesterday, Mediafax reports. “At the moment, the documents have been filed to the National Trade Register Office, and the partnership is to become official once the documents are validated by this institution. The Eurolines distribution network, the 52 offices which make the object of this partnership, will operate under the name TUI Travel Center. In the near future, a considerable number of the network’s offices will be personalised by receiving TUI’s and Eurolines’s logos, and the official launch is scheduled for September,” Dragos Anastasiu, the owner of Eurolines, announced.
