Vegetal production rise by 6.6 pc in 2010, while animal and agricultural services production slumped by 6.8 pc and, respectively, 26.5 pc, according to figures released, yesterday, by the National Institute of Statistics (INS). Last year, total agricultural production rose by 1 pc, to RON 64.4bln. Slight modifications have been reported, also, in the make-up of animal production. Thus, the corresponding ratios of the pork and dairy sectors rose by 2.2 pc and, respectively, 1.4 pc, while the ratio of beef ebbed by 4.7 pc.
