Renault made EUR 30 M investment in Matrite Dacia

Matrite Dacia company – the only unit of the Renault group that manufactures press machines – was officially inaugurated Wednesday in Pitesti, reads a press release. Since 2007, the French group invested EUR 30 M in Matrite Dacia, to increase its output capacity 7 times. The money served at expanding the production area by 60 pc, buying modern machines, rearranging the production facilities, and training the employees. This turned Matrite Dacia into one of the best equipped factories of its kind at world scale and the only in Romania featuring a 2,400 ton press. Renault already supplied machines built at Matrite Dacia to its plants in Romania, Morocco, India, Turkey, Slovenia, Argentina, Brazil, France and Spain.
