Peruvian artefacts on display at Geology Museum

The exhibition “Peru – richness and colour”, comprising rare minerals, jewellery, decorative artefacts and photographs, is running between July 27 and August 26 at Bucharest’s National Geology Museum, a release informs. The exhibition, organized by the Romanian Geological Institute in collaboration with the Peruvian Embassy to Romania, marks 190 years since Peru proclaimed its independence and proposes the get the public more closely acquainted with Peruvian culture and civilization. Visitors will be able to see photographs, peculiar minerals, silver jewellery decorated with ancient Inca symbols, ceramic artefacts and textile products made of llama wool and alpaca.
