PM Boc denies EU funded-road is passing through his birthplace

Prime-minister Emil Boc stated, on Friday, that the EU funded-road in the area of the Rachitele village had nothing to do with his parents’ home, as the road starts from the end of the village and goes on for 21 kilometres towards Padis-Ic Ponor, an important sightseeing area. “Not one inch of this road has anything to do with the place where my parents live,” Boc stated. The main road in the village of Rachitele, the prime-minister’s birthplace, is included in a modernization project run by the Cluj County Council, worth EUR 14 M.
